1. One thing I love about the summer weather is that you can never tire of salads. If you think about it, the variety you can have is endless, cold meats, rice, pasta salads, boiled eggs, anything really can be thrown together to make a yummy salad.
Leftovers is another great thing to add to salads. For instance, I had some leftover stir fry teriyaki beef, so added it to some mixed leaves, a HEa serving of cheddar cheese, a bit of sweetcorn relish (for 1 syn) and a drizzle of fat free ranch dressing (also 1 syn). The result was delicious:

2. Another thing I love to add to salads, is a bit of fruit – a sliced up crisps apple, or even some red seedless grapes are delicious mixed into a salad. This is one I did yesterday – crisp romaine lettuce, cucumber, HEa serving of cheddar cheese, some ham, sliced crisp pink lady apple, 2 tablespoons of fat free croutons (1 syn) and a drizzle of fat free ranch dressing (1 syn). Again another delicious salad and so so easy and quick to put together:
