Texas grits souffle

Ingredients for 12 to 14 people
6 cups lightly salted water
1 1/2 cups grits
1 lb. grated cheddar cheese
1 1/2 sticks butter
3 eggs, beaten
Pinch of salt, pepper, and garlic powder
Dash of Tabasco

Cook Time → 1 hour min

Directions
1. Bring water to boil. Add grits and cook, stirring until mixture is thick.
Remove from heat and add cheese and butter.
Stir until smooth and add eggs and spices.
Mix well.
Pour into an 11 x 14-inch oiled baking dish.
Bake on hour in preheated 250 degree oven.
Serve with alas, if desired.
